Version Numbering

We use Semantic Versioning for version numbering:

• MAJOR version when you make incompatible API changes
• MINOR version when you add functionality in a backwards compatible manner
• PATCH version when you make backwards compatible bug fixes

Release Schedule

• Major Releases: Every 6 months (March and September)
• Minor Releases: Every 2 months
• Patch Releases: As needed for bug fixes and security updates
• Security Updates: Released immediately when critical issues are discovered

Support Lifecycle

• Current Version: Full support and updates
• Previous Major Version: Security updates and critical bug fixes only
• Older Versions: Community support only
